Beliefs

At the Table of Christ, we are rooted in the historic faith of the Church while remaining attentive to the Spirit’s ongoing work in the world. We affirm the central tenets of the Christian tradition as received through Scripture, the Creeds, and the sacramental life of the Church.

We believe in the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — revealed most fully in Jesus Christ, who embodies God’s love for the world. Through his life, death, and resurrection, we see the fullness of God’s desire for reconciliation, healing, and restoration.

We hold Scripture, read through the lens of Christ and within the Great Tradition of the Church. We affirm the sacraments — especially Baptism and Eucharist — as means of grace through which we participate in the life of God.

We are committed to a faith that is both ancient, inclusive, and living: grounded in orthodoxy, expressed through compassion, and oriented toward justice, mercy, and peace.
